How FamSignal uses personal information.

Who is responsible
FamSignal is operated by Amrit for the founding pilot. Contact hello@famsignal.co.uk with any privacy question or request.
Founding-pilot families
We use the participating adult's name and email, postcode district or area, broad child age bands and household preferences to create and send the four pilot editions, manage replies and understand feedback. We do not ask for children's names, full home addresses or exact dates of birth.
Waiting list
If you register interest, we collect your email address, optional first name, postcode district or area, and your consent to receive waiting-list updates. We use this only to understand where interest comes from and to contact you if FamSignal opens to more families. We keep these details until the waiting list closes or for 12 months from registration, whichever happens first. You can leave at any time by emailing hello@famsignal.co.uk, and we will remove your waiting-list details.
Provider submissions
If you send activity or event details, we use the information and contact email to check the listing, ask questions and decide whether it is suitable for FamSignal. Public event facts may be stored in the activity pool. Contact details are used only for provider communication.
Lawful basis
For the pilot and waiting list, we rely on consent where the form asks for it. We also use legitimate interests for essential administration, accuracy checks, security and responding to messages.
Services used
FamSignal uses Tally for forms, Brevo for campaign email, IONOS for direct email, Cloudflare for website delivery and Microsoft OneDrive for controlled working records. Each provider processes only the information needed for its role.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to run FamSignal, or where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent, ask for a copy, request a correction or deletion, object to certain use or ask us to restrict processing. Email hello@famsignal.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security and children
Access is restricted to the pilot operator. Research notes use participant IDs rather than names where practical. FamSignal is for parents and carers aged 18 or over. Children do not create accounts or communicate with the service.
